Janie Virginia Glasscock, 91, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at Granville Medical Center.
Janie was the daughter of the late Richard Henry and Minnie Elliott Glasscock. She was a member of Stovall United Methodist Church for over thirty years and retired from Northern Telecom.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford by Rev. John Yount. Burial will be at Meadowview Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to the Funeral Service at Eakes Funeral Home from 12:30 – 1:45.
Surviving are nieces, Dolly Riley of Kittrell, Linda Claiborne of Amelia, Virginia, Julia Collins of Henderson, Joyce Ann Bridges of Amelia, Virginia, Gloria Daniel of Henderson and Florence Blackwell of Oxford; nephews, Al Glasscock of Oxford, Charles Glasscock of Amelia, Virginia and Richard Glasscock of Oxford. She was preceded in death by sisters, Emma and Thelma Glasscock and brothers, Alfred and George Glasscock, nieces, Marie Lankford, Mildred Yarborough and a nephew, Jerry Lee Glasscock.
